Hania Stach (born January 13, 1981 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish pop singer. She was participating in the second season of the television show Idol. ==Biography== Hania Stach graduated from the Music Academy in Katowice, the faculty of Jazz and Popular Music majoring in vocal performance. She studied singing with Elżbieta Zapendowska - one of the most famous singing teachers in Poland, and Anna Serafińska - the Grand Prize and Audience Award winner at the World Montreux Jazz Vocalists Competition. Hania collaborated with a lot of polish huge stars like: Natalia Kukulska and Edyta Geppert. At the age of 19, she won the popular Polish show Szansa na sukces ("Chance for Success") where she sang one of Edyta Górniak's song. She became more popular thanks to participating in the second season of the television show Idol. Hania was the 2nd of TOPtrendy Festival 2004, organized by Polsat TV, which includces two songs of Hania - End Of The Road and Grażyna Łobaszewska's cover "Czas nas uczy pogody" ("Time teaches us serenity"). She signed a contract in Warsaw with EMI for five albums. In 2004 she released the debut album Hania Stach, which were 13 pop songs (mostly in Polish) and one song in English. This album contains Właśnie w taki dzień (Just like this day), which was applied for Opole Festival 2004 and just obtained a 4th place in the competition. In 2007 she took part in polish nation final Piosenka dla Europy 2007 for Eurovision Song Contest with a song Regroup in which she ended 1st in a draw with The Jet Set, but her song became a favourite European song of the year in Eurovision website - esctoday.
